Exploiting Readily Available Information to Support Everyday Creativity on the Move

The advent of smartphones has enormously expanded utilitarian capabilities of mobile computing and has provided many advanced capabilities to their users. We take advantage of the advanced interaction capabilities of smartphones to enable their user perform exploratory search with the goal of fostering inspiration. Our search application combines diversification of content and sources with a user interface design that utilises cues from the social chatter to perform query expansion and let users interactively explore the available information space.
